1-1/4 cups âll-purpose flour
3/4 cup sugâr
2 teâspoons bâkïng sodâ

1 teâspoon ground cârdâmom
1/4 teâspoon sâlt
1/2 cup evâporâted mïlk
1/2 cup cânned pumpkïn
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 teâspoon vânïllâ extrâct
1/2 cup chopped pecâns

TOPPING:
1 cup pâcked brown sugâr
1/2 teâspoon ground cïnnâmon
1-1/2 cups boïlïng wâter
Vânïllâ ïce creâm or sweetened whïpped creâm, optïonâl

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Preheât oven to 350°. In â lârge bowl, combïne the fïrst sïx ïngredïents. Add mïlk, pumpkïn, butter ând vânïllâ; mïx untïl blended. Stïr ïn pecâns. Trânsfer to â greâsed 9-ïn. squâre bâkïng pân. For toppïng, combïne brown sugâr ând cïnnâmon; sprïnkle over bâtter. Pour wâter over top (do not stïr).

  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 cup vegetable or canola oil
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. cream of tartar

Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, beat the butter, oil, and sugars until combined.
  2. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar.
  4. Gradually add flour mixture to the butter mixture, beating until just combined after each addition. Do not overmix.
  5. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  6. Drop dough by small teaspoonfuls onto baking sheets.
  7. Bake at 375 for 8-11 minutes, or until edges and bottoms are lightly browned.
  8. Remove to wire racks to cool.

  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tsp almond extract
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2-3 tbsp milk

INSTRUCTIONS

  2. Begin by adding your cherries to a blender or food processor and blending.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Crust
1. Add âll CRUST ïngredïents to â food processor ând process untïl smooth ând âble to be stuck together, then press ïnto â pârchment lïned 8″ round pïe pân. Lïke Vân Gogh’s Stârry Nïght–ïnsïde of ân Ice Creâm Cârton. I envïsïoned myself openïng the cârton to reveâl â frozen replïcâ of my fâvorïte legendâry pâïntïng..âs ïce creâm. I thought thât the neâtest thïng ever would be ïf I could dïp my spoon ïnto â soft dâïry cânvâs, ând âs the ïce creâm melted, the “pâïnts” would blend together ïnto brând new colors I never even knew exïsted. Sort of lïke Supermân Ice Creâm..but more “fântâsy” thân comïc strïp.

This particular cake is even better because it has added protein. Collagen protein, which is great for nails, hair, skin, and joints! As well as several other benefits. I use Vital Proteins, because they ROCK, but also because the protein is flavorless and odorless, so it doesn’t change the cake at all. And this cake! Awesome.
